Coconut oil: thousand uses of a special ally

Coconut oil is one of the most versatile oils and a great beauty ally!

There are many different types of coconut oil on the market, but the label 'pure' does not guarantee quality.
Pure only means that the product is made entirely from coconut oil, but it doesn't tell us about its origin or processing. It is therefore always a good idea to rely on trusted brands, which is why we always rely on Le Erbe di Janas.
Le Erbe di Janas Coconut oil is virgin, i.e. extracted from fresh, cold-pressed nuts and thanks to this we can enjoy its scent without worrying that artificial fragrances have been added!

But let's see how we can use it

For the skin
It is an excellent emollient and elasticizer.
Anti-wrinkle and nourishing.
Skin repairer, it prevents drying out and premature ageing of the skin caused by exposure to the sun.
Suitable for protecting and moisturising hands and lips, but also as a cleanser and make-up remover for the face.
An excellent massage oil for all skins, including the most delicate ones. Can also be used to reduce and soothe redness, inflammation and irritation, such as after hair removal and shaving.
Good alternative to shaving foam

For oral hygiene
Useful in cases of inflammation and gingivitis or to facilitate the absorption of calcium by the teeth, which are whiter and protected from the formation of plaque.

For hair
Protects hair from the sun and salt spray and is a valuable aid for dry, shaggy, frizzy or damaged hair.
It can also be used as a conditioner or pre-shampoo pack, with restructuring and moisturising action, penetrating the hair deeply and faster than other conditioners.
Coconut oil is useful as a treatment to repair split ends, moisturise the scalp and add a healthy complexion to the hair.

How to use it as a mask?
Apply to the scalp and ends and cover with a shower cap for 30 minutes. Proceed with your favourite shampoo.

Coconut oil is an excellent ally in case of difficult-to-unravel knots:
Warm up some oil, apply it to the knotted part of your hair, gently work out the knots first with your hands and then with a wide-tooth comb. Remember: always start at the ends and work your way down to the roots!

Coconut oil is also a natural ally to help your hair grow stronger and faster.
The vitamins and essential fatty acids naturally present in coconut oil nourish the scalp and help remove accumulated sebum from hair follicles.
Apply it to damp hair (remember: oils should preferably always be applied to damp and/or wet hair). Melt the coconut oil by heating it slightly. Apply it to your hair (both the lengths and the scalp by massaging upside down) and wrap it in a shower cap and then cover with a hat or towel. Leave on for at least 30 minutes and then proceed with a normal shampoo.
